Day 6: Seek Him without Fear in Doubt & Difficulty

Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” 

Have you ever been in a situation where you are praying so hard and feel like you’ve been praying so long for something and still God remains silent and your situation stays the same? Have you ever prayed for clarity regarding a decision that has to be made and it still seems as if the direction you should go is still foggy? Are you facing each day with fear because it seems as if you are surrounded by crushing unseen forces that want to keep you from moving towards what God has for you? You are not alone. Have faith my friend.

I urge you to get in your Bible and seek and find the courage that God has for you there. You’ll find passages like Psalm 27, which says in verse 1“The Lord is my light and salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” All throughout scripture we are given encouragement that we can use in times of difficulty and fear. Press into His love for you, He is there, waiting for you to give Him all your worries and cares. 

PRAYER: Father, forgive me for doubting that You hear me and for when I start to be fearful when I forget Your timing is better than mine. You are my strength and my refuge, You are my ever-present Help in times of trouble. Thank you that I can come to You and cast my worry and fear at Your feet. I love you, in Jesus name, AMEN.
