Day 12: “Forgive Us Our Debts”

Matthew 6:12 and forgive us our debts,

Have you ever sinned and felt like going to God in prayer was the last thing you or even He would want? That God's grace was enough to start the journey but not enough to sustain the journey? Jesus continues teaching us that a healthy prayer life is constantly asking for daily needs and confessing daily sins. 

Forgiveness isn’t just what starts our Christian walks, it's what we also need at every step of the Christian walk. We will still sin as believers but we have a kind Father who because we have a gracious savior will forgive us when we confess our sins. Don’t be scared to come into your Fathers presence and confess your sins but rather boldly approach the throne and find grace and mercy from the gracious God who is our Father. (Hebrews 4:16)

God does not want you to carry your sin as if He won’t take you in and forgive you as He has always done. Daily we can confess our sins and find He is faithful and just to forgive all our sins. (1 John 2). So come today and confess your sins and be rid of them so you can seek His kingdom and know what a gracious King we have in King Jesus!

PRAYER: Father thank you that your grace never runs dry and that sinners like me are welcome before your throne because there I find my savior. I stand amazing at your amazing grace that has washed me and continues to wash me daily. Truly you are a gracious God!
